What to Post When You’re in a Launch (But Don’t Want to Feel Pushy)

If you’re launching a new product, event, service, or offer, selling can bring up a lot of different emotions. You might be wondering what to do and how to handle it. You believe in what you’re offering and don’t want to come across as spammy, salesy, or out of integrity with your brand… but at the same time, it’s time to make the cash register ring and share it.

Is your head nodding along with us yet?

Let’s start with a pep talk. Selling is service when done from a place of connection, clarity, and care. You don’t need to push. You need to guide, invite, and inspire.

And you can absolutely do that while staying authentic to your voice, values, and community.

If you’re getting ready to launch, here’s what to post to stay visible, drive conversions, and still feel completely aligned. Bonus tip: A lot of these ideas will also work for an email series. Pick one idea from each section and boom! Email series complete!

Start with Connection Before Promotion

Before you talk about the offer, talk about the why behind it. Share your heart behind why you created it and include the transformation and the problem it solves. Doing this will help your audience feel seen before you show them the solution.

Post Ideas:

  • Share a behind-the-scenes look at why you created this offer

  • Tell a story about the moment you realized this was needed

  • Highlight the mission or purpose behind your launch

  • Ask your audience if they’ve ever experienced the challenge this offer solves

Try It Out:  Write a post that starts with “I created this because…” and let that be your launch kickoff.

Teach Through Value-Driven Content

When you offer free education before the sale, you build trust, authority, and anticipation. Instead of pushing, you’re pulling people in with clarity and support.

Post Ideas:

  • Create a short tip carousel related to your offer’s topic

  • Bust a myth or common misconception your offer addresses

  • Share a short video explaining the “first step” someone needs to take

  • Turn a recent FAQ into a Reel or blog teaser

Try It Out: Choose one teaching point from your offer and turn it into a quick-win post your audience can apply today.

Share Social Proof Without Bragging

Testimonials are trust builders, not ego boosters. You can share them in a way that celebrates the client and gently reinforces your offer’s value.

Post Ideas:

  • Highlight a transformation and tell the before and after story

  • Post a quote graphic with a short caption that speaks to the result

  • Share a screenshot of a message or review (with permission)

  • Interview a past client in a short video or carousel

Try It Out: Find one testimonial that aligns with your current offer. Share it with a caption that focuses on the client’s journey, not your win.

Create Curiosity and Behind-the-Scenes Moments

People love to feel like insiders. When you share what’s coming before it drops, you build anticipation and engagement without saying, “Buy now.”

Post Ideas:

  • “We’ve been working on something special…” teaser posts

  • Photos or videos of your creative process

  • Sneak peeks of content, packaging, or modules

  • A countdown to a webinar or early bird access

Try It Out: This week, post one behind-the-scenes image of your launch prep and invite people to watch for the reveal.

Answer Objections Before They’re Asked

You don’t need to wait for someone to say, “I’m not sure this is for me.” Instead, show empathy and clarity by proactively addressing the hesitations your audience may have.

Post Ideas:

  • “I know you might be thinking…” posts that speak directly to concerns

  • A post about your own fears before investing in something similar

  • Comparison content: DIY vs. Done-With-You vs. Done-For-You

  • Client stories that reflect common hesitations

Try It Out:  Write down three reasons someone might hesitate to buy. Then turn one into a compassionate, helpful post this week.

Make the Offer Both Clearly and Confidently

You’ve built connection, provided value, shared stories, and answered questions. Now it’s time to confidently invite your audience to take action. Remember, clarity is not pushy. It’s generous.

Post Ideas:

  • What’s included, who it’s for, and how to sign up

  • Early bird or VIP bonuses

  • “Doors are open” announcement

  • Final reminder before the cart closes

Try It Out: Schedule 2–3 clear offer posts across the final week of your launch. Make the next step easy and stress-free for your audience.

Share Your Energy and Enthusiasm

Your energy sells. If you’re excited about what you’re offering, let that shine through. People buy into belief. They want to be part of something that feels energizing and purposeful.

Post Ideas:

  • “This is why I’m so excited about this ______”

  • Behind the scenes of you prepping for your workshop, event, or challenge

  • Personal story of your own transformation using this method or product

  • A love letter to your future clients

Try It Out: Go live or record a quick video where you share why this offer matters right now. Let your audience hear your heart.

Remember: Launching Doesn’t Have to Feel Loud—It Has to Feel Like You

Selling gets to feel aligned. Launching gets to feel grounded. When your content is built around real connection and meaningful transformation, your offer becomes a gift, not a pitch.

If you’ve been dreading “selling yourself,” flip the script. You’re not selling. You’re inviting someone to step into a result they already want—you’re just showing them the path.
